Our story
Today, we at Race Roster™ are celebrating our 9th birthday! Nine years ago today, five friends set out to change the event industry. After organizing a 10K race called Rock the Road, it was evident that the event industry was in dire need of better technology. Their mission was to solve event organizer problems, and today, the Race Roster team continues to solve those problems, as well as offer solutions to event industry professionals across the globe.
Race Roster is an award-winning registration provider, however, registration is only part of the event organizer journey. The Race Roster platform has now evolved into an all-in-one event management solution and a go-to resource for event industry professionals. Our platform is a powerful collaboration tool for event organizers, timers, sponsors, and fundraising organizations to work together and execute successful events from start to finish. We pride ourselves in providing our users with the tools to better understand, support, and grow their events.
What began as a small business, offering an English-only platform to events in North America has now become a platform that contains multilingual capabilities, allowing Race Roster organizers to register millions of participants from around the world.

Our head office remains in London, Ontario, however, we also have team members in Victoria, Vancouver, Toronto, Chicago, Boston, and Poland.
In 2019, we were acquired by ASICS, which has allowed us to provide even more value to Race Roster users. From the moment a participant hears about an event, they embark on a journey of experiences associated with the event’s brand. Being a part of ASICS gives our organizers the opportunity to connect with their participants at every step, strengthening their relationship, and providing an experience that makes them excited to participate again.
Today, we now have 100+ employees that are focused on delivering the best technology and customer experience possible. We are all incredibly proud of the work we’re doing – helping our organizers deliver that incredible “event day experience” to as many people as possible and providing organizations with the tools they need to raise more for their cause. We believe our laser-focus on endurance events has made it possible for us to provide the best solutions possible to our customers.
Race Roster culture
Since the beginning, running and wellness has been an integral part of Race Roster’s culture. Our daily smoothies are a team favourite, as well as the various fitness activities we do together. Many Race Roster employees run together on lunch breaks, attend yoga, swim, spin, strength training classes, and more. Our internal planking, burpee, and ‘feel great’ challenges have also been a big hit! Many Race Roster employees say they were inspired by the culture to experience the benefits of running and make their health a priority!
In addition to fitness and wellness, learning is another core component of Race Roster culture. Employees join together to learn ASL, Japanese, and other new skills! You’re also likely to find us at industry conferences, soaking up all the great insight or even driving the conversation.
Growing, together
Our team is growing at a rapid rate, with 45 new employees just in the last year! We are so grateful to our team, and so proud of everything we have achieved together. Even as a larger group, we truly believe we are a family, rather than just a company (quite a few of us are literally related) and you can count on us to have your back.
